How it works
1. Log your mood daily
Rate your depressed mood, elevated mood, irritability, and anxiety on a simple four-point scale. Takes seconds.
2. Invite trusted observers
Ask a partner, family member, or therapist to log what they observe about your mood. They answer the same four prompts.
3. Compare and reflect
See where your self-perception aligns with outside observation, and where it diverges. Use those insights to guide real conversations.
Why comparison matters
If you report severe depressed mood today but your partner reports observing none, that mismatch is meaningful. Maybe you are masking. Maybe they are not noticing. Either way, the gap is worth exploring.
MoodMirror is not a diagnostic tool. It is a mirror held up by the people you trust, helping you see what you might miss on your own.
Built for consistency and privacy
Configurable reminders
Email and SMS nudges so you and your observers never forget to log.
Granular access control
You decide who can observe, what date range they can see, and you can revoke access at any time.
Encrypted and secure
Data encrypted in transit and at rest. Your mood data is sensitive and we treat it that way.
Unlock mechanic
You must log your own mood before you can see what others observed. This prevents anchoring bias.
