By using MoodMirror ("the Service"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Description of Service
MoodMirror is a web application that allows individuals to log daily mood observations and compare them with observations submitted by trusted people they invite. The Service supports self-reported mood tracking, observer-reported mood tracking, configurable reminders, and comparative visualizations.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use MoodMirror. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement.
Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You may not share your account credentials with others.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
- Submit false or misleading mood observations about another person with intent to harm.
- Attempt to access another user's data without authorization.
- Interfere with the operation of the Service.
- Use the Service to harass, stalk, or intimidate any person.
Mood Data and Consent
When you invite someone to observe your mood, you grant them permission to submit observations about you and to view your data within the configured date range. You may revoke this permission at any time.
When you accept an invitation to observe someone, you agree to submit observations in good faith and to respect the subject's privacy.
Not a Medical Service
MoodMirror is not a medical device, diagnostic tool, clinical decision support system, or emergency service. The Service does not provide medical advice, diagnoses, or treatment recommendations. Do not use MoodMirror as a substitute for professional medical care.
If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, contact your local emergency services or call 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline).
Data and Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We take the security of your mood data seriously and implement encryption and access controls as described in the Privacy Policy.
Termination
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Limitation of Liability
MoodMirror is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to decisions made based on mood data or comparisons shown in the application.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
